Abstract

In this book, jurist Richard Epstein writes a critique of progressive interpretations of the U.S. Constitution. The book is an important piece for understanding the constitutional history of the United States and, above all, for understanding the current limitations of the U.S. government, which, in the author's view, are very few. In a fairly short book, Epstein gives a brief account of the cases that set precedents in U.S. constitutionalism forever. This review elaborates perspectives from political science and its intersection with law.
