Abstract

John Carson Lennox, born in Northern Ireland, is a mathematics professor at Oxford and a leading Christian thinker. In addition to his other academic credentials to back him up, his books and discussions with famous atheists (eg, Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, or Peter Atkins) have made him one of the most recognized Christian apologists of our time. His work has focused, broadly speaking, on the relationships between science, philosophy and theology and, as already mentioned, on the defense of the Christian theistic worldview. Other Lennox translated books: Has Science Buried God?, The Beginning According to Genesis and Science, and Shooting God.
