Abstract

2021 marks the closing of the cycle of the bicentennials of the Hispanic-American independence that began in 2010. In this context, the publication of the Fe y Libertad Institute of the work of Dr. León Gómez Rivas regarding the religious sources that in some way they overlapped in the context of the emancipation of Ibero-America, contrary to what is commonly believed that exclusively the enlightened ideas inspired these processes.
