Abstract

Since Barack Obama's first term in office, thousands of American executives have carved out careers in the upper echelons of corporations across a range of industries (technology, finance, commerce, communications, and entertainment), applying their expertise in ESG and DEI. Now they are finding themselves unemployed, and the possibility of finding a position with similar responsibilities and salary range is becoming increasingly remote. The market, inexorable, has passed judgment: demand is fed up with the nonsense of wokism. For readers unfamiliar with the term, wokism refers to the progressivism of the last ten years.
