Abstract

Transhumanism and the human perfectioning aspirations through different technologies have become a reality in our society. In the next article I explain some of this movement’s main claims and I will discuss the ethical and moral implications in those claims. The thesis I hold is that, many times, by trying to overcome humanity and achieve perfection, man can end up dehumanizing himself and losing the characteristics that make him who he is and that give him value and dignity.
