Abstract

In this work, after alluding, according to L. Polo, to the milestones of the treatment of hope in history and describing the dimensions of this human dimension—who entrusts the task, who is in charge, the future, the task, the resources, the collaborators, the adversities, the epic existence and the beneficiary—, it is studied as an acquired virtue of will, potency of the ‘essence’ of man, and as a native characteristic of the personal ‘act of being’.
